Polymer Testing

Our chemists in the polymer testing labs at Hellas Polymers are constantly researching and testing polyurethanes and polyurethane components manufactured to ensure they meet and exceed standards for quality, durability, and physical characteristics.

Some of these experiments include tests for:

Abrasion resistance
Strength
Deformation
Elongation
UV stability
Permeability

Additional physical characteristics of the polyurethanes and polyurethane components that are tested include the effect of temperature, overall color, and system weight.

World Athletics CERTIFICATION

The International Association of Athletics Federations certifies synthetic track products that have been tested for, and meet the technical requirements for use in all international athletics competitions, when installed to at least the absolute thickness nominated for the product.
